These terms are an agreement between Centeuno Technologies LLP (“we”, “us”) and the lab that installs and uses CentLabs Pro (“you”). By registering a lab or using the app, you accept them. If you accept for a lab, you confirm that you may do so on its behalf.
Early Access
CentLabs Pro is in Early Access, by invitation. It is free during Early Access. Some features may change, be added or be removed while we build it with the labs that use it. Before any paid plan starts, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead, and you can choose not to continue.
Your licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use CentLabs Pro for your lab's own work, on the computers registered to your lab. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or change the app, or get around its licence checks, except where the law allows it.
The owner account
The lab owner account (email and password, or Google) registers the lab and confirms who owns it. Keep its sign-in details and the app's passcodes safe, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what is done under your account and by the staff you give access to.
Your lab's data and duties
- Patient and lab records stay on your computer and belong to you. We do not receive them.
- You are responsible for that data under the law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: collecting it with a valid reason or consent, keeping it accurate and secure, and answering your patients' requests.
- Reports made with the app are your lab's reports. Results, reference ranges and interpretations must be checked and signed by a qualified person, as the rules for your lab require. The app is a record-keeping tool; it does not give medical or veterinary advice.
- You are responsible for your backups. Keep regular backups, including one away from the lab's computer. We cannot recover data that was never backed up.
- You must follow the laws and registrations that apply to running your lab.
Acceptable use
Do not use CentLabs Pro for anything unlawful, try to break or overload our services, access accounts or data that are not yours, or give false details when registering.
Updates and support
The app checks for updates and installs them to keep labs safe and working. Support is given by email at support@centlabspro.com, on a best-effort basis during Early Access.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect about your lab and your account, and why.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using CentLabs Pro at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end a lab's licence if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or if we end Early Access; except in serious cases we will tell you first and give you time to export your data. Your data stays on your computer, and you keep your backups.
No warranty
During Early Access, CentLabs Pro is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about CentLabs Pro is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell lab owners in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
